LAHORE: Federal Minister and President of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party Aleem Khan said that the wishes of those who want to see the country go bankrupt have been shattered, as inflation and bank interest rates are decreasing due to the government’s improved economic policies.

Speaking at a cake-cutting ceremony organised by IPP Lahore District President Malik Zaman Naseeb and office bearers at the party’s central secretariat on Saturday, Aleem Khan praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, saying, “It is a matter of happiness that not a single scandal has come to light in any department, for which all the credit goes to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.”

He said that we pay tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team for handling government affairs with responsibility and transparency. He added that our party is an ally of the government at both the federal and Punjab levels, and we will continue to support the government in its journey toward development. Aleem Khan stated that the people’s suffering is being alleviated due to the strengthening economy, and the country is in a positive direction today compared to a year ago, so let the people breathe a sigh of relief and reject negative politics. He emphasized that, as Pakistanis, it is a matter of shame for all of us that some Pakistanis abroad are speaking negatively against Pakistan. If the country and its dignity are preserved, then all of you can engage in politics. He expressed hope that if the government is given four more years, Pakistan will progress in all fields. He urged everyone to contribute to the development, stating that if the country is saved, everyone’s honour will be saved. He also called for a thorough examination of the condition of hospitals, schools, and institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), questioning why those who ruled for four years did not deliver on their promises of prosperity. The ceremony was attended by Provincial President of IPP Rana Nazir Ahmed Khan, General Secretary of IPP Punjab and Member of the Punjab Assembly Shoaib Siddiqui, President of IPP Lahore Malik Zaman Naseeb, General Secretary Rana Javed Iqbal, President of the Women Wing Punjab Tahseen Khakwani, President of the IPP Youth Wing Ghazanfar Amir, Chief Organiser of the Pakistan Students Federation, along with a large number of students and youth.
