EOBI officials meet traders
Rawalpindi:A joint important meeting of EOBI and traders was held at Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI). In which EOBI Deputy Director General Benefits and Contribution (B&C III) Islamabad Muhammad Amin and Regional Head Rawalpindi Ahmad Faraz Qaisrani along with their operational team participated, says a press release.
Restaurant Caterers Sweets and Bakers Association President Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry demanded from the organisers of Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) to make the Rawalpindi Chamber a member in the board of directors of the EOBI so that the problems of the traders can be heard.
Sohail Altaf, group leader of RCCI, said that EOBI is an important institution, we hope that the suggestions presented to EOBI will be implemented with mutual agreement. RCCI President Usman Shaukat appreciated the role of EOBI in providing financial support to registered employees and their dependents.
While Senior Vice President Malik Fazlur Rehman, Vice President Huzaifa Ansar, Vice President Sardar Mehmood Hussain Niko, Vice President Sardar Saleem Sherzaman, Information Secretary Tariq Khan, Chaudhry Muhammad Hafeez, Naveed Ahmad Abbasi, Chaudhry Sharafat Ali, Chaudhry Abdul Wahid, Sheikh Nair Firoz and other members participated on behalf of the association.
On this occasion, the president of the association Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry said that there is a storm of inflation. The employees are living in difficulties. The business community raises its voice on every platform for the protection of its employees.
It is the responsibility of the government to provide equal rights to employees, Chairman Mumtaz Ahmad said that a large number of people do not know about EOBI. So a social media app should be launched from the platform of EOBI. With the help of which the people can be informed. The solution of the problems will be possible only when the institutions take the people along.
In the meeting, Mohammad Amin, Deputy Director General (Operations) Islamabad informed about the services and performance of the welfare organisation EOBI. He said that EOBI registers all industrial, business and other organisations under the jurisdiction of the law.
