KARACHI: Gold prices rose by Rs400 per tola on Friday in the local market following an increase in the international market.
All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that gold rates reached Rs282,600 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs342 to Rs242,283. Gold rates increased by $2 to $2,705 per ounce in the international market.
Silver rates decreased by Rs27 to Rs3,406 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also decreased by Rs23 to Rs2,920. Prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
