LAHORE:A delegation of Asian Development Bank visited the NTDC headquarters in Wapda House here on Thursday. On this occasion, ADB delegation and NTDC management met to discuss the status of future flagship projects, the implementation of the ADB-funded Power Transmission Strengthening Project and the mid-term of the second Power Transmission Enhancement Investment Programme (Tranche-4). The implementation of the action plan was reviewed. The ADB delegation included Director Energy Sector Office Junho Huang, Senior Project Officer (Mission Co-Leader) Ehtsham Khattak and Sector Analyst (Energy Sector) Pakistan Resident Mission Habib Hassan, (ADB) while the NTDC team was led by Managing Director Engineer Muhammad Waseem Younis. Future transmission projects, progress on Tranche-4 projects, implementation of power transmission strengthening project and purchase of necessary equipment were discussed in the meeting.
The Asian Development Bank team also expressed its willingness to further collaborate with NTDC to implement these projects.
