Drama, music and everything in between: YouTube reveals Pakistan’s top videos and creators
YouTube empowers creators to connect with audiences, build communities and grow a business
KARACHI: YouTube on Wednesday revealed its ‘End-of-Year List 2024’, highlighting the platform’s most-watched videos and top creators in Pakistan.
The lists, featuring ‘Top Trending Videos’, ‘Top Music Videos’ and ‘Top Creators’, provide an interesting glimpse into the country’s love for drama, music, and creativity.
This year, local creators broke records; the total hours of content uploaded by local creators surged by 60 per cent in the past year. With over 65 per cent of watch time on Pakistani content coming from global viewers, creators are proving their worldwide appeal.
The platform also empowers creators to connect with audiences, build communities and grow a business, with a 25 per cent increase in the number of creators earning over Rs10 million annually.
Pakistan’s love for storytelling and action-packed cinema shone through loud and clear. From gripping local dramas like ‘Ishq Murshid’, ‘Jaan Nisar’ and ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum’ to South Indian blockbusters like ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ and ‘SKANDA’, entertainment ruled the Top Trending Videos.
The ‘Top Music Videos’ celebrated diversity, with chart-topping hits spanning languages and genres. Punjabi bangers, soulful ballads, and Bollywood songs entertained audiences, proving music’s universal pull.
The ‘Top Creators’ list featured household names like Rajab’s Family, Anaya Eshaal Family and Arshad Reels, whose engaging content continues to inspire millions. From family vlogs to educational content, these creators dominated the digital landscape in 2024.

Top music videos: 90-90 Nabbe Nabbe -- Gippy Grewal; Aaj Ki Raat -- Stree 2; Balo Batiyan -- Ali Zafar and Atta Ullah; Tauba Tauba -- Bad Newz; and Teri Baaton Mein -- Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon.
Top creators: Rajab’s Family; Anaya Eshaal Family; Arshad Reels; UR Cristiano; and Ducky Bhai.Internet sensation and one of the youngest YouTubers Muhammad Sheraz’s Shirazi Village Vlogs channel came ninth.
