PTI MNA gets transit bail
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Friday granted transit and protective bails to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member National Assembly (MNA) Shahid Khattak.
A two-member bench consisting of Justice Syed Arshad Ali and Justice Wiqar Ahmad heard his petition and directed the relevant authorities to provide the details of the cases registered against the MNA.
Granting the transit and protective bails to the lawmaker, the bench directed him to appear before the relevant courts by November 14.
Ali Zaman Advocate appearing for the lawmaker told the court that the federal government authorities had registered cases against Shahid Khattak at various police stations in Islamabad and Punjab.
He requested the court to order the relevant officials to provide the details of the cases registered against his client.
