PHA sponsors Christian staffer’s visit to Jordan

LAHORE:The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) will sponsor a week-long religious visit to Jordan for a Christian staff member, Director General Muhammad Tahir Wattoo announced on Monday.

Jordan is home to many important Biblical sites that attract tourists. Key attractions include Al-Maghtas, Umm ar-Rasas, a Roman garrison with 16 Byzantine churches; and Madaba, famous for the Madaba Map, the oldest mosaic map of the Holy Land. Haroon Masih was selected during a manual ballot in which all 158 Christian employees participated.
