15 federal officials retiring next year
Retirement orders have been issued on completion of service of one Grade-22 officer, four of Grade-21 and eight of Grade-20 officers
ISLAMABAD: Fifteen federal bureaucrats will retire next year, while orders have been issued for appointment and transfer of many officers and extension of deputation.

Muhammad Shakeel Malik, Secretary to President and Grade-22 officer of Secretariat Group will retire on January 14, 2025; Additional Secretary Privitisation Division Saleem Khan on January 2, 2025; Additional Secretary Housing and Works Division Alamgir Ahmed Khan on March 20, 2025; Additional Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination Division Zahoor Ahmed on March 31, 25; Senior Joint Secretary Climate Change Division Muhammad Farooq on April 7, 2025; Joint Secretary Defence Division Raja Ijaz Mehdi on January 30, 2025; Director General National Internship Programme Muhammad Khan on March 13, 2025; Joint Secretary Finance Division Syed Muhammad Ali on March 22, 2025; DG Pakistan Public Administration Research Center Muhammad Lakhkar Khan Hoti on March 28, 2025; Joint Secretary Council of Common Interests Secretariat Abu Zafar Sadiq on March 31, 2025; Joint Secretary Kashmir Affairs Division Muhammad Hamid Khan on April 1, 2025; Joint Secretary Military Finance Wing, Finance Division Altaf Hussain on April 9, 2025; Joint Secretary Communications Division Ghulam Sarwar on April 9, 2025.
All these officers belong to Secretariat Group and reaching the retirement age. The Establishment Division has issued the notification.
Meanwhile, the services of Inland Revenue Service Grade-18 officer Ali Saleh Hayat Kalyar have been entrusted to Punjab Government on deputation for three years, while OSD Farhan Zahid has been posted as Section Officer Interior Division.
The deputation period of Additional Commissioner Punjab Revenue Authority, Tuqeer Ahmad Sajra, has been extended from March 1, 2024 to November 30, 2025, and deputation of Dr Amina Abbasi, a woman medical officer posted in Polyclinic, to December 31, 2024.
