LAHORE: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif celebrated International Youth Day by praising the youth as the nation’s greatest asset and architects of its future. She emphasised the importance of education, training, and character building, stating that the PMLN government is committed to helping youth achieve their dreams through various initiatives.

Chief Minister Sharif highlighted ongoing programmes under the Chief Minister’s Youth Initiative, including the distribution of e-bikes and petrol bikes for students and the provision of IT skills and laptops. She also announced upcoming scholarships for higher education, ensuring no shortage of funds for youth education.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif noted the importance of youth energy and skills for national development and expressed confidence that their hard work would lead to a prosperous Pakistan. She praised Arshad Nadeem as a model of success and urged the youth to focus on education rather than unrest.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz warmly welcomed Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair to her office, expressing deep appreciation for the friendship between the Saudi royal family and her father.

Dr. Al-Budair praised the strong, strategic friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and commended Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s leadership. He invited her to visit Madinah Munawara and expressed heartfelt wishes for Pakistan’s development and prosperity.
