KARACHI: Lucky Cement Limited on Friday reported a 21 per cent increase in its quarterly earnings, due to an increase in revenue and other income.
In a statement to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company reported a net profit of Rs72.34 billion for the year that ended June 30, up from Rs59.54 billion last year.The company also announced a cash dividend of Rs15 per share for this period.
Earnings per share came in at Rs220.51, compared with earnings per share of Rs152.97 a year ago.The company said its revenue for the year rose to Rs489.36 billion, compared with Rs459.46 billion a year earlier. The cost of sales lowered to Rs287.48 billion from Rs291.49 billion.The company said its other income also increased to Rs16.19 billion against Rs9.28 during the same period last year.
