65pc of Pakistanis aware of PM’s name: Gallup survey
20% of Pakistanis gave wrong answer while 14% expressed ignorance and failed to tell name of current PM
ISLAMABAD: Sixty-five of Pakistanis are aware of the name of the current prime minister.
This was revealed by Gallup Pakistan’s survey, in which more than 700 people participated from across the country. On the question of what is the name of the current prime minister? 65 percent of Pakistanis got the name of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif correctly. However, 20 percent of Pakistanis gave the wrong answer and wrong name, while 14 percent expressed ignorance and failed to tell the name of the current prime minister.
According to the survey, the majority of men were among those who said the name of the prime minister correctly and 71 percent of men said the name correctly, while the percentage of such women was 61 percent. According to the survey, more Pakistanis were aware of the prime minister’s name in cities than in rural areas. About 63pc in villages and 72pc in cities said the name of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif correctly.
