9th Muharram processions taken out

LAHORE:Processions for the 9th of Muharram were taken out across the country. In Lahore, the main procession for the 9th Muharram was taken out from Pandu Street, Islampura, passing through the traditional routes of Islampura Bazaar, Civil Secretariat, and Old Anarkali, concluded at Khaima-e-Sadaat. Along the procession route, arrangements were made for distributing drinks (Sabeel) and free food (Langar-e-Hussaini). Stringent security measures were implemented along the procession routes, including the installation of walk-through gates.
