Warsak Lift Canal restoration begins
PESHAWAR: Commissioner Peshawar Division Riaz Khan Mahsud has initiated practical measures for the restoration of Warsak Lift Canal (Wach Nehar) passing through the suburbs of PK-76 and PK-77.
This development came after he chaired a meeting, attended by deputy commissioner of Peshawar, that of Khyber, Tesco and Irrigation Department officials, and members of KP Assembly constituencies PK-76 and PK-77.
“The restoration of Warsak Lift Canal and the elimination of unannounced loadshedding are crucial for the residents of PK-76 and PK-77,” said the commissioner. “We are committed to
resolving these issues at the earliest. During the meeting, orders were issued to Tesco and the Irrigation Department to commence restoration work on Warsak Lift Canal and install electricity poles.
