Minister assures support for orphanage

MARDAN: Provincial Food Minister Zahir Shah Toru paid a visit to Sarhadi Yateem Khana on Shamsi Road here and distributed prizes and gifts to children who excelled in their annual examinations.
The visit provided an opportunity for the minister, accompanied by MPA Abdul Salam Afridi and DC Mardan Fayaz Sherpao, to learn about the issues and challenges facing the institution.
Minister Toru expressed his commitment to addressing the issues promptly, and said that the welfare and upbringing of orphans are shared responsibilities of both the government and society.
