JUIF chief’s brother files papers for NA seat

DI KHAN: Ziaur Rehman, the brother of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUIF) chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, here on Monday submitted his nomination papers for the by-election on the National Assembly constituency NA-44.
He is chairman of the party’s Digital Media Committee. The JUIF candidate for the provincial assembly seat Kafil Ahmed Nizami and others were present on the occasion.
The NA-44 seat was vacated by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf provincial president for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, after he retained the provincial assembly seat to become chief minister.A tough contest is expected on the seat between Faisal Amin Gandapur, brother of Ali Amin Gandapur, and Ziaur Rehman in the by-election.
