KHAR: Unidentified armed people shot and injured a man in Bajaur district headquarters Khar on Thursday.
SHO Khar Police Station, Niaz Muhammad, said the incident occurred in the Jar Dag Qila area of Khar tehsil.
He said the injured Rashid, hailing from Swat, had been living in Bajaur for the past 20 years.
He was heading home after offering Maghrib prayer when armed men fired at him. The victim was taken to the Khar Hospital, where his condition was said to be stable. The police said they were investigating the case.
