Wild animal hits plane at Islamabad airport
ISLAMABAD: In a horrifying incident at the Islamabad International Airport (IIA), a wild animal hit a plane when it was landing on the runway, airport sources said on Saturday. The captain of the aircraft immediately reported the incident to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), while the airport authorities ordered an investigation.
The incident occurred when a private airline flight, ER702, arriving from Dubai, was in the final stages of landing at the Islamabad International Airport, a wild animal collided with the plane as it touched down, causing concerns for the safety of onboard passengers. The airport authorities took immediate action as the engineering staff was dispatched to inspect the aircraft for any damage caused by the incident.
