TIME FOR SOME SKIN-VESTMENT

skincare

The cosmetic industry in Pakistan has completely evolved over the past few years. When it comes to skincare or makeup, I’m sure most of us are familiar with the Pakistani cosmetic brands like Medora and Saeed Ghani. If you were living in the ’90s your beauty routine would probably end here. But with time, technology, awareness, and development, Pakistani cosmetic brands have amped up their game in the last few years. There were obviously some hits and mistakes but that’s how you learn and make a better product. Thankfully, it is a continuous process and we are observing some really cool Pakistani cosmetic and skincare brands in the market that have a wide range of products for different skin types and skin concerns.

With the world of beauty growing day by day, our very own Pakistani brands are not lagging behind any longer. Some of these Pakistani brands are on par with western beauty brands and are producing high-quality make up and skincare products at affordable prices without compromising on your skin. This week You! takes a look at some of these emerging brands and their products…

Primary Skincare

A new name in the market, Primary is Pakistan’s answer to all those beauty brands selling off expensive toners and face mists that give you that oh-so-supple look. As the name suggests, Primary skincare is all about treating the ‘primary’ concerns of your skin but as gently as possible. Their products hold some magical ingredients in their bottles. Their Glow Toner is a very beginner friendly product because it only contains 3 per cent of glycolic acid, and sensitive skin folks can also benefit from it. Moreover, their Jasmine Dew Face Mist is also very great at hydrating and drawing in that moisture to your skin. Use them both together and see your skin glow.
