Television’s favourite on-and-off screen couple, actors Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir announced their engagement in 2019. Since then, there were speculations regarding the time and location of their wedding. Rumors had it that the two would tie the knot in Turkey. Au Contraire, Sajal and Ahad recently got married in Abu Dhabi, in an intimate gathering with friends and family in attendance.
Sajal recreated her late mother’s wedding look, according to a picture of the two circulating on social media, while Ahad looked regal in an ivory sherwani and turban. The Nikkah ceremony took place at the Zaya Nurai Island in Abu Dhabi, followed by a post-wedding dinner.
Wedding festivities began days before the Nikkah ceremony, with pictures of their dholki circulating on social media since last month, while a mehndi ceremony took place in Abu Dhabi prior to the Nikkah.
On the work front, Sajal’s most recent drama serial, Alif that appealed to viewers for reasons more than one, has come to an end on the day of her wedding. She received a lot of acclaim for her effortless performance in the drama. Ahad Raza Mir’s latest drama, Ehd e Wafa, also concluded a day after their marriage.
