While we are awaiting the upcoming season of Pepsi Battle of the Bands, which is making headlines for more than one reason, the previous season still has more to offer. As promised at the 2017 finale, Pepsi has just launched music albums by winning band Kashmir and runners up, Badnaam. The albums were introduced at a star-studded evening at Avari Towers in Karachi on Thursday as the bands took centre stage and performed to a live audience. First Badnaam and then Kashmir the Band performed to the songs featured on their respective albums.

The evening opened with a ‘Blue Carpet’ (because corporations can’t resist endless branding) that was hosted by model-actor Rubya Chaudhry, followed by a fun, meet-and-greet session with band members hosted by Anusheh Shahid.

Speaking to attendees, Muneeza Anwar, Marketing Manager of Pepsi Co, shared, “Pepsi has always taken great pride in showcasing musical talent in Pakistan and Pepsi Battle of the Bands is our opportunity to do it with aplomb. Both the finalists did a fantastic job and we are very proud to be launching their albums today.”

Coming back to the upcoming season, reportedly Meesha Shafi, Fawad Khan and music group Strings will be judging the show while the initial round of auditions has taken place already.
