“I’m playing one of the F-16 pilots in Parwaaz Hai Junoon, it’s one of the main roles in that track,” Shaz Khan, who hails from an Air Force background, shared in a quick telephonic conversation with Instep. “My grandfather was an air commodore and my uncle also holds one of the senior positions in the Air Force, so this was a project I couldn’t say no to. It’s a grand story and a pretty big production.”

He also informed that he was cast in the film months back but no official announcement had been made on that due to some issues.

Khan is currently busy training for his role in the film that requires him to get in shape and is also acquiring the required knowledge regarding Air Force. He will begin shooting his part in the coming days.

Starring Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir and Hania Amir in lead roles, Parwaaz Hai Junoon is directed by Haseeb Hassan and revolves around the story of Pakistan’s Air Force.
