Islamic scholar Nauman Khan’s sister Saima Khan passes away in US
She was under medical care at M D Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston for last few months.
Dallas: Saima Khan, the Deputy Chief Executive of prominent US Islamic Center of learning Bayyana and sister of famous Islamic scholar Nauman Khan, has passed away after fighting with brain cancer.
Her funeral prayer will be held at Islamic Center of Irving on Wednesday.
She will be buried in Arlington Muslim cemetery.
Her father Kausar Ali Khan while talking to Geo News correspondent said that she was battling brain cancer for last few months.
She was under medical care at M D Anderson Cancer Hospital in Houston for last few months.
Her cancer had spread into other parts of her body and despite doctors’ efforts she lost her fight with the disease yesterday.
Late Saima Khan has left behind her husband Syed Fawwad Ali, two daughters - twelve years old Zohra Ali and four years old Hiba Ali.
Saima Khan had joined Bayyana with her brother Nauman Ali Khan in 2015 and kept working for this institute till her last breath.
After finishing her education in business Administration, she had worked for few companies but since 2015 she had dedicated her life for the mission of Bayyana institute and for promotion of Islamic teachings with her brother.
Islamic Strategic Study Center had listed Nauman Ali Khan in top 500 influential personalities of Islamic World. He has millions of followers throughout the world.
