Zayn Malik confirms singing Urdu song, Qawwali for his upcoming album
Famed British-Pakistani singer Zayn Malik has been the center of attention for quite a while now, and it seems like the singer has more in store for fans.
The 25-year-old singer recently confirmed that he plans to have Urdu songs and Qawwalis in his upcoming album.
This has resulted from the singer’s love for Bollywood movies and he stated that he recently recorded a song for the Hindi film industry.
It’s one of the first songs I’ve sung in full Hindi, so it’s going to be cool to see what the response is.” I feel like I’m in the control seat, I’m doing my own thing and I’m enjoying it,” shared Zayn.
Revealing insights about his next music project, he further added, “There’s definitely a lot of Urdu; some nice qawwali sounds. There might even be some bhangra vibes.”
He also said he had worked with AR Rahman on one song.
All fingers crossed to see Zayn Malik crooning to some nice Qawwali.
