Bruno becomes star of Grammy’s evening
Bruno’s album 24K Magic took home various trophies including top honours of Album of The Year, Record of The Year for 24K Magic and, Song of The Year for ‘That’s What I Like’.
LOS ANGELES: Bruno Mars leads this year’s Grammy awards by taking home all six awards that he was nominated for. This included Album of the Year award alongside others.
Bruno’s album 24K Magic took home various trophies including top honours of Album of The Year, Record of The Year for 24K Magic and, Song of The Year for ‘That’s What I Like’.
The first people that Mars thanked after receiving the award was his fellow nominees. “You guys are the reason why I’m in the studio pulling my hair out, man, because I know you guys are only going to come with the top-shelf artistry, thank you guys for blessing the world with your music.” Mars was referring to Childish Gambino, Lorde, Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar.
Lamar picked up five Grammy’s including best rap album for Damn while Alessia Cara took home Best New artist amongst nominations of SZA, Khalid, Lil Uzi Vert and Julia Michaels.
