Columbia organizes oldest, largest carnival show

Coastal city of Columbia known as Barranquilla held one of the largest carnival show of dance and tradition pageantry.

The show is a spectacular display of Columbian colors and customs. People dress up in exciting attires and costumes and is known as the biggest party in Rio de Janeiro.

Organisers work the whole year round to prepare for the biggest festival of the year.

Thousands of revelers fly in throughout the festival from all over the world. More than 25,000 performers entertain the visitors for four consecutive days every year.

The carnival is being celebrated for the past 220 years. It has grown every year with growing population, culture, customs, traditions and rituals of Columbia.
