She made the announcement live on NBC alongside producer Jimmy Fallon.

Although, it was meant to celebrate Savannah’s expanding career, sources tell Naughty But Nice it triggered immediate anxiety.

The insiders told Hollywood expert Rob Shuter that friends and colleagues fear the beloved anchor may be pushing herself too hard while privately struggling through enormous personal pain.

The close insider said, “People around Savannah are worried because she never stops. She’s grieving, she’s under pressure at Today, ratings are tightening, and instead of slowing down she keeps adding more work.”

The expert explained the concern comes at a fragile moment for the morning franchise.

Following Hoda Kotb’s exit, morale inside Today remains shaky as Good Morning America continues gaining momentum with viewers.

The insider said, “NBC desperately needs stability right now. When your biggest star starts branching out this aggressively, people naturally wonder if her focus is shifting away from the show.”

The sources close to Savannah say her emotional state has become a major topic of conversation among colleagues after the disappearance of her mother, Nancy Guthrie on February 1.
