Mahira Khan, Saba Qamar named Best Bollywood debutantes of 2017
UK-based publication The Eastern Eye hailed leading Pakistani actress Mahira Khan as the number one Bollywood debutante of 2017.
The third spot was claimed by none other than the immensely talented Saba Qamar.
“Mahira Khan – a star in Pakistan, a debutant here – is naturally easy before the camera playing Raees’ girlfriend and later his wife,” the British newspaper quoted film critic Anna MM Vetticad as saying.
The critic went on to laud Saba Qamar for her incredible acting talent comparing her with Fawad Khan.
She said that the two actors have convinced the local audiences that Pakistan has received its mighty share of the world’s hotness.
She added that, “Though her character is often hyper, her acting never is – that is a fine line to tread and she pulls it off wonderfully.”
Saba Qamar and Mahira Khan have mustered tremendous appreciation for appearing in top Bollywood movies like Raees and Hindi Medium.
Considering the quality of work these actresses produce every time, there is nothing stopping the two from making their mark in international industry too.
