French base jumpers set new record of base jumping
Fred Fugen and Vince Reffet, AKA Soul Flyers were sponsored by Red Bull that constantly promotes extreme sports. The two stuntmen had been training for months and performed 100 test flights in Spain before the actual stunt in Switzerland.
French base-jumping enthusiasts performed a breath-taking stunt when they jumped down from a high altitude mountain to land in a moving airplane that stayed mid-air. They jumped off from the peak of Jungfrau mountain in Switzerland and successfully pulled off the extreme stunt by safely landing inside the plane.
Fred Fugen and Vince Reffet, AKA Soul Flyers were sponsored by Red Bull that constantly promotes extreme sports. The two stuntmen had been training for months and performed 100 test flights in Spain before the actual stunt in Switzerland.
Wingsuitting involves gliding through the air in a wingsuit which increases the surface area of the wearer.
In an interview, Reffet and Fugen said that they wanted to re-create Patrick de Gayardon’s stunt that he performed 20 years back in a wing suit.
Patrick had jumped off a plane and entered another airplane while the Soulmate Flyers jumped off a mountain peak and entered an airplane.
