KARACHI: Two persons were killed and two others went missing on Saturday as fire broke out at an oil tank filled with 1000-tonnes of methanol chemical at the Kemari Oil Terminal.
The fire tenders from the Karachi Port Trust (KPT), Pakistan Navy and Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) were busy in dousing the fire.
Foam and chemical is being used to extinguish the fire, officials added.
The fire broke out at Pakistan State Oil depot, KPT fire chief said.
