'Star Wars' to offer fans never-before-seen experience for 'A New Hope's' 50th anniversary
'Star Wars: A New Hope' 50th anniversary is set to fall next February
Ahead of the 50th anniversary next February, it is confirmed that Star Wars: A New Hope will roll out in the buzz-worthy high-end format: IMAX 70mm.
But it will not be the only movie from the franchise to release in the giant-screen format.
Star Wars: Starfighter is another.
This upcoming movie has few plot details, but Ryan Gosling is confirmed to headline it.
He will play Kade, and the cast includes Matt Smith, Mia Goth, Aaron Pierre, Jamaal Westman, Daniel Ings, Flynn Grey, and Amy Adams.
Shawn Levy and Kathleen Kennedy will serve as producers, and Jonathan Tropper wrote the script.
The logline of the movie reads, “When a cynical rogue is confronted by his mysterious past, he is hurled into a dangerous adventure across the galaxy that puts him on a crash course with destiny.”
Star Wars: Starfighter will bow out of theatres on May 28, 2027.
