Adria Arjona reflects on her 'Morbius' experience
'Morbius' was released in cinemas in April 2022
Adria Arjona is not a fan of her own Marvel movie Morbius.
The 34-year-old actress recently appeared on Happy Sad Confused podcast, where she threw some shade at the movie.
When asked if there was a “silver lining” to being in Morbius, the actress jokingly replied there wasn't.
“Look, you live and you learn," Adria continued. "It was a great experience. I got to meet Matt [Smith]. I think it’s funny."
"I think if you look at it with eyes comedy, I think there are sparks in there. I’m… I’m not so sure,” Adria added, who played Dr. Martine Bancroft in the MCU movie.
Previously, in an interview with CBR, the actress praised her character Martine for being the “smart one in the room.”
“When Martine speaks, people listen. It’s nice to see that in a female character. It’s not just about being pretty or strength or toughness. It’s that she’s the smart one in the room," the source said.
"At the same time, she’s very curious and has a big heart – her motivation is always to help others, and she’s the same way with Morbius. She’s constantly taking care of him in a different way than he takes care of her. She learns so much from him, but Morbius’s rock is Martine," the confidant added.
