What Hayden Panettiere's ex-boyfriend did weeks after meeting her in March?

It was the second of March when Hayden Panettiere and Brian Hickerson were photographed together at a Los Angeles airport.

But just over three weeks later, the late actress's on-and-off boyfriend allegedly pursued a woman from Greenville, South Carolina.

Both met at Cat’s Pajamas, a nightclub. Due to alcohol, the then-25-year-old told Page Six that she did not quite clearly remember meeting Hickerson.

However, the next day he followed her on social media and slid into her DM.

“Great meeting you last night, pretty lady. I owe you a date. I’m heading to [C]ity Tavern for a slushie in a bit; you should join,” the alleged message of Hickerson read, sent on March 29.

In response, the woman replied, “Hey Brian! I’m sorry I missed this — I’m awful with my inbox. I have to be so honest, I don’t remember much of that night. What happened?”

That aside, Hickerson reportedly asked her out for a drink and also mentioned taking her to Halls Chophouse, a well-known steakhouse.

Still unsure, the woman pressed him to say how they met.

However, the conversation somewhat hit a roadblock when Hickerson revealed he was 35 after the woman asked his age and told hers.

Other than that, her lack of recollection of meeting him also played a role in her losing interest.

But Hickerson was allegedly persistent.

For days, according to the woman, he kept trying. He sent multiple texts, even replied to a story on Instagram, and eventually gave up.

Though the name of the woman was not disclosed, he came to recognize him when news of Pannettiere's death flashed on the media.

This led her to go back through her messages to see whether the person he saw on the news linked to the actress was the same person who texted her.

And according to her, they are.

But it is worth noting that it has not been established that Hickerson cheated on Panettiere during the period because it was unclear what the status of the pair was while he was allegedly pursuing the woman.
