AnnaLynne McCord offers glimpse into her secret garden wedding

Annalynne McCord and Danny Cipriani's intimate wedding revealed.

The Days of Our Lives star tied the knot with Danny Cipriani on Saturday, August 22. The wedding took place in their home backyard; moreover, the ceremony was simple yet intimate.

Speaking to People Magazine, the 90210 alum gave insights into her “elegant bohemian” wedding ceremony, stating, “Our home is where we get to start our new life together.”

Reflecting on her 81-person guest list, she called them her “soul family.”

“To have those we love the most bless it with their presence, in celebration of our love, will be a gift that keeps on giving for years to come,” she shared.

Looking back at her unscripted wedding vows and how she wanted to be herself, “Everyone says it sounds so scary not to write my vows, but I feel if there’s any rush at all it will only make my words more heartfelt and true,” she revealed.

Adding, “I perform every day of my life when I’m at work. My wedding day is the day that though I’ll be in front of a crowd, I get to 100% be myself.”

For those unaware, the 81-person wedding guest list includes some of the well-known names such as Josh Bowman, Emily VanCamp, Linsey Godfrey, Emily O’Brien, Mieko Hillman, Jessica Minhas, Rachel McCord, and Angel McCord, among others.

The actress further opened up how her friends backed her and travelled all around the world just to make her special day unforgettable, stating, “Our soul family has flown in from all over the world, booked big houses together and shown up to wrap floral arrangements around unsightly pipes, cover our backyard with lanterns and rose petals, perform blessing ceremonies, rituals and rites — all to put their hearts’ love into the cornerstone of the temple of our marriage and budding life together.”

Noting, “If the entire event fell apart, but they were all still there with us, we have what truly matters: people who know us deeply and love us for who we truly are and for how much our love means to them.”

On the other hand, Danny described their wedding as “It is a deep honoring of our souls for the path we’ve walked in this and other lifetimes.”

“To be choosing and honoring this divine blessing is the greatest gift. It is beyond my wildest dreams,” the new husband further added. 

It is pertinent to mention that the newly married couple has been in a relationship since 2016; however, from 2020, they were in an on-and-off relationship.
