Mario Lopez gushes over pre-teen son Dominic's acting debut
Mario Lopez feels proud as son Dominic follows in his footsteps
Mario Lopez has expressed his true feelings as his son, Dominic Lopez, follows in his footsteps.
On Wednesday, August 5, the 52-year-old American actor and television host attended Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood event, where he shared his true feelings as his pre-teen son is stepping into the acting world.
Mario said, “It’s a pretty special moment being that I was a former kid actor myself, and now getting to see my son sort of take this journey.”
“It makes for a very special moment. We’re excited to be here,” he gushed.
For those unaware, the Chasing Christmas star also started his acting career at the age of ten as Tomás in the 1984 comedy series a.k.a. Pablo.
Mario then landed a role on Kids Incorporated and also played a guest role on The Golden Girls.
His first film was Colors before his breakout role as A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell in 1989.
It is pertinent to mention that Mario Lopez and his son, Dominic Lopez, recently filmed Christmas at the Starlight movie, which will premiere during the holiday season as part of Great American Christmas across Great American Family, Great American Pure Flix and GFAM+.
