Chad Lowe, Kim Painter announce death of 13-year-old daughter Fiona: 'We are deeply heartbroken'

 

Actor Chad Lowe and producer Kim Painter’s daughter, Fiona Hepler Lowe, has passed away. She was 13.

The family announced the devastating news in a statement shared with People magazine on Tuesday.

“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona," the Lowe family said. "She was a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance."

“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives," they continued. "Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time."

For those unversed, Chad welcomed Fiona with Kim on November 16, 2012. The couple is also parents to two daughters, Mabel Painter, 17, and Nixie Barbara, 10.

In 2025, the Life Goes On alum turned to his Instagram account to celebrate Fiona's entry into her teenage years.

“Celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teen today!!” he penned in the caption of the post. “Keep dancing through life FiBear! Love you soooo much!!"
