Perez Hilton’s hospitalization after engaging in self-harm during a TikTok livestream has triggered all kind of conspiracy theories on social media.

Social users linked the incident to dark and occult-themed imagery in Ariana Grande’s recently released “Petal” music video.

Commenting on the incident involving Perez Hilton, some claimed that Hollywood promotes demonic influences.

According to reports, authorities responded to multiple calls about an individual livestreaming acts of self-harm.

Hilton was located alone inside the residence and taken to a hospital for treatment.

Some social media posts connected his bloody appearance in the livestream to scenes from Grande’s video for “petal”.

The video features horror-inspired elements, including blood and violent images.

Screenshots of Ariana Grande’s videos were also shared by some users on social media to corroborate their claims about celebrities.

It comes two days after Ariana Grande decoded to step away from the public eye after her current tour ends next month.

Her representative said the US pop star's "public-facing ‌work" had subjected her to "endless, ongoing public scrutiny".
