Jared Leto breaks silence on 10 women accusing him of sexual assault

Jared Leto, a celebrated actor in Hollywood, was accused of sexual misconduct by no less than 10 women in a shocking BBC documentary titled Jared Leto: Hollywood's Darkest Secret.

Now, the Academy Award-winning actor has broken his silence.

“I have never sexually assaulted anyone in my entire life,” the star said through his rep. “These claims are absolutely and categorically false.”

Regardless of the denial, the documentary featured several appalling allegations.

Among the ten, four of them claimed they were just teenagers when they faced alleged inappropriate sexual behaviour by the actor.One of the outrageous accusations was a woman alleging Leto assaulted her in a motel bathroom at the age of 17.

Another claims she was 19 when he threatened her with sexual assault.

A third made the most serious claims of having sex with Leto at 17 in California, where the age of consent is 18.

The fourth one is alleged to have had an intimate exchange on calls when she was 16.

BBC, on its part, stated it has cross-checked the allegations by the women through their families and friends, whom they told at the time.

On electronic evidence, the broadcaster said its review showed it partly supported the alleged victims' claims.

But it is not the first time Leto was accused of sexual assault.

DJ Allie Teilz alleged the actor had sexually assaulted her when she was 17, which prompted other women to speak out.
