Why Anne Hathaway describes her career as 'extremely surreal'
Anne Hathaway is on track to release five movies in 2026
Anne Hathaway, who is on track to release five movies in 2026, described her career as "extremely surreal."
In a new interview with People magazine, the 43-year-old actress talked about having five films and being pregnant at the same time.
“I’m excited. This is very, very fun. It’s extremely surreal,” said Anne. “But I’m at an age and a moment in my career where I know stuff like this doesn’t come around very often, and certainly doesn’t last forever.”
“So I’m just gonna surf this wave for as long as it lasts, I’m going to enjoy being on my board, and then when I fall in the water — that’ll be that moment," she added.
For those unversed, Anne's first movie of 2026 was Mother Mary, which was released in cinemas on April 17. Her second film of this year, The Devil Wears Prada 2, was dropped in May.
Anne's latest film, The Odyssey, has recently hit theaters, in which she plays Penelope.
The End of Oak Street is scheduled to be released in cinemas on August 14, and Verity will be presented on October 2.
It is worth mentioning that Anne is currently expecting her third baby with her husband, Adam Shulman.
