Prince Harry has apparently played one final card for taxpayer funded security in Britain for his family, a royal expert has claimed.

Royal expert Rob Shuter has claimed that the Duke believed he had one final card to play in his battle over security in Britain: his children Archie and Lilibet.

The insiders have told the expert, “Harry genuinely believed the children would change everything.”

Prince Harry thought no one in government would risk the headlines if Archie and Lilibet were left without the level of security he was requesting, the source said and added, “He was convinced it would force RAVEC’s hand.”

However, the expert explains, “It didn’t”.

Another insider said, “RAVEC wasn’t swayed by emotion or optics.”

“They followed the same procedures they always do. Harry expected the presence of his children to reshape the conversation. Instead, it changed nothing.”

Harry and his wife Meghan Markle alongwith their children Archie and Lilibet held a meeting with King Charles on Friday.

King Charles hosted the California-based royal couple for the first time in years on Friday as they try to repair a rift that has persisted since a public, high-profile falling out that saw his youngest son and wife quit royal life and move to America six years ago.

The royal expert’s remarks came as Prince Harry is fighting for security in Britain.
