Lindsay Lohan gets candid about growing up in public eye

Lindsay Lohan feels honoured to inspire generations!

Ahead of her 40th birthday, the actress admitted expressed gratitude to be considered a voice for multiple generations after spending much of her life in the public eye.

In an interview with People Magazine, Lohan said, "I think it's an honored feeling, and I think it comes from just living my life in the public eye for so long and always trying to be the most honest I can be."

Adding, "So yeah, I think with that comes pressure always, when I was younger to try and be a certain way, but I think over time and in life you realize you can only be true to yourself, and that has to show through in the end."

Known for her long-standing career, Lohan has transcended decades from 1998's The Parent Trap to 2004's Mean Girls.

"So I feel honored, I guess I would say, in a lot of ways," Lohan noted.

Moreover, Lindsay Lohan is partnering with digital banking company Chime for its new campaign celebrating the youngest millennials turning 30. The campaign encourages millennials to embrace financial wellness while entering a new decade.

Of what inspired her to join the campaign, Lohan said, "I felt like it's a generational moment right now, and it felt like it was fun to celebrate."

"We were able to have fun with it. And whenever I see campaigns where I can have a lot of fun and poke fun or make people laugh, I always jump at those opportunities because we need more of that in the world," she added.

Lohan said that while she is of the millennial generation, she is always evolving and always learning.
