Jade Thirlwall teams up with ‘Angel of My Dreams’ producer for new music

JADE has reunited with the producer behind her smash hit Angel of My Dreams on her second album.

After contributing to multiple tracks on the BRIT Award winning star’s debut solo LP, That’s Showbiz Baby! including the aforementioned first single, Mike Sabath will now be producing the pop star's entire next album.

He told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column, “I am doing the whole new album and it’s insane. I’m so excited about the JADE music.”

“That first album, we were finding things. This album from the beginning, I’m doing the whole thing, so it can be nice and unified and cohesive. She’s got more confidence and it’s just so fun,” Mike added.

Quizzed on how close they are to finishing the follow-up, he teased, “We’re pretty far.”

That’s Showbiz Baby! reached No.3 on the Official UK Albums Chart in 2025. That same year, the former Little Mix star picked up her first solo BRIT Award for Best Pop Act.

Meanwhile, Mike revealed he's been in touch with RAYE about working together again, though the Where Is My Husband! singer is adamant she's not making another record until she meets the man of her dreams.

He said, “She’s the one famously saying that she’s not going to make another album until she falls in love.”

“I mean, we’ve checked in – that’s what’s going on. We’re not in the studio on a new album yet,” he updated.

Mike did not reveal the names of any other artists he's working with, but it sounds like he's in-demand as he said, “I’m getting to work with people I’ve always wanted to work with. It turns out when you do that, you’ve got to sign NDAs. I can’t say any names.”
