Jennifer Lawrence teams up with Zach Cregger for sci-fi thriller

Jennifer Lawrence is teaming up with the acclaimed Weapons director on his upcoming sci-fi thriller “The Flood”.

Zach Cregger, who is currently riding high on the success of his new Resident Evil movie will write, direct and produce the project based on his original idea.

Plot details are currently under wraps. The film is set to release on 11 August 2028.

Warner Bros Motion Picture chairs Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy said in a statement,” Jennifer Lawrence is one of the most gifted and compelling actors working today."

Meanwhile, the Oscar winning actress, who joined Instagram earlier this month shared a second post on her account , dropping multiple pictures and a clip.

With only two posts, the Jennifer Lawrence has crossed seven million followers on Instagram. Her latest post alone garnered over two million views within a few hours after it was shared.
