UFC fighter Josh Hokit gives Trump special gift after viral Michelle Obama remarks

UFC fighter Josh Hokit won the Heavyweight title at UFC Freedom 250 on Sunday, June 14, after defeating veteran Derrick Lewis with a technical knockout in Round 2.

The UFC spectacular event was held on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, to celebrate America's 250th anniversary and Donald Trump's 80th birthday.

Soon after winning the fight, the 28-year-old presented Trump with a special gift at the event. He removed his custom gold chain, featuring a one-of-one artist proof trading card in a red PSA slab and put it around Trump’s neck. The US President accepted the gift and wore it.

Besides, this spectacular moment at the UFC event, especially Hokit’s victory, was completely overshadowed by the controversial remarks he made regarding Michelle Obama during his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan on the White House lawn.

After winning his match on the White House lawn, UFC fighter Josh Hokit surprised the crowd by declaring, “Michelle Obama is a man! Am I right, America?”

The video took the internet by storm and Hokit received backlash from netizens for uttering such insensitive remarks.

One user wrote, “Disgusting conduct. Michelle Obama has ample grounds to sue him for every asset he owns.”

Another one commented, “What kind of nonsense is this? How is politics mixing up with UFC? This man is the wrong person for saying that; he's seeking sympathy from Trump through hate inheritance. He just lost my respect for sure.”
