Prince William uses Tech Week to tackle homelessness
Prince William made a surprise appearance at London Tech Week.
On Thursday, the Prince of Wales joined homelessness charity Homeward UK to explore how technology and data could help prevent people from falling into homelessness at the first place.
Speaking at the event, the future King of Britain discussed how better data system could help identify individuals at risk earlier. It will allow for prevention before the crisis point is reached.
The official Instagram handle of the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a video clip from the event. It showed Prince William sharing important message with the audience aimed at preventing homelessness through innovation. He noted "Homelessness is not inevitable. it is entirely preventable. It is predictable."
The caption of the post read: "Preventing homelessness through innovation."
"Exploring how technology and data can help us better understand the pathways into homelessness and identify opportunities to intervene earlier at #LondonTechWeek," it added.
