Sophie Turner appears to hint at Joe Jonas split as she makes telling 'manipulation' remark
The 'Games of Thrones' actress looked back at the difficult time of her life
Sophie Turner apparently hinted at the "manipulation" by her ex husband Joe Jonas in a new interview.
During a recent talk with The Telegraph, the Games of Thrones actress candidly spoke about her "messy" life in her 20s as she turned 30 earlier this year in February.
Sophie talked about a few TV projects she did which helped her process the most challenging time of her life - her custody battle with Joe over their daughters.
The British actress shared, "I did a movie called Trust about a girl who had to go into hiding because she was being manipulated by this man she had a baby with and needed to protect her child - she had personal things to process and it felt like an opportunity for me to do that too."
She also noted that she was happy about her milestone birthday and saying goodbye to her tumultuous twenties.
Sophie said, "All my best friends are my age and we went to school together and we're having a year of 30th birthdays. We're just so happy to be out of the mess of our 20s."
The mom of two added, "Each of us has had a mini-breakdown but we all feel really positive now. I was very ready to leave that decade of my life behind."
It is pertinent to mention that Sophie and Joe share two daughters, Willa, five, and Delphine, three. The pair remained married for three years before separating in 2023.
