Millie Bobby Brown shares simple parenting motto she follows as a mom

Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi adopted a baby girl in 2025.

To raise the kid, the pair has a motto: “to take it one day at a time.”

In a chat with UNICEF, she said, "My husband and I always say, 'Today was today and tomorrow is going to be tomorrow, and let's just sleep.' You just take it day by day."

Brown, on the other hand, reflected on the rollercoaster nature of motherhood.

“They are doing something and you’re like, ‘Is that normal? Do they do that?’"

She recalled calling her mother for advice, "And you know, I’ll call my [mom]."

"She’s just like my 911. ‘[Mom], did I do this?"

Inquiring to her mom, Brown asked, "Did my siblings do this?’"

"And she is like, ‘Oh, that’s completely normal. They do that all the time.'"

“[It’s] so great. I’m honored to have support,” the actress praised her mother.

In addition, Brown also raved about her mother-in-law.

“And if I can’t call her, I call my mother-in-law. She is just like the same way. It’s so nice to hear reassurance.”

Brown and Bongiovi quietly tied the knot in 2024.
