'Call Me Daddy' host Alex Cooper, husband Matt Kaplan announce new milestone after two years

American podcaster Alex Cooper and her husband of two years, Matt Kaplan, are set to become first-time parents.

The Call Her Daddy podcast host announced her first-ever pregnancy over the weekend on Instagram, posting photos of her baby bump. Cooper was seen caressing her belly in the photos while sitting with Kaplan.

“Our family,” she captioned the post, which was then flooded by comments from fans and well wishers.

Cooper, 31, and Kaplan, 42, first connected during a Zoom meeting in July 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their relationship developed over time and the couple got engaged to marry. The couple married in April 2024 in Riviera Maya, Mexico, where Cooper wore a custom Danielle Frankel gown she described as her dream wedding dress.

The pregnancy comes at a time when there have been reports of strain in the marriage. Sources also say the couple have been spending less time together in daily life, including sleeping separately. 

However, no public statement has been made from either Cooper or Kaplan addressing these claims.
