A royal expert has disclosed King Charles true feelings for his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet after the palace announced the monarch’s niece Princess Eugenie is expecting her third baby.

“His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news,” the statement further reads.

Amid this development, the royal expert has claimed that cancer-stricken King Charles feels remorse over his ongoing feud with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and likely wishes he could reconcile with them so he can be a part of his grandchildren's lives.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe says, "I think King Charles is full of regret over the whole situation, he definitely wouldn't have wanted it to go this way.

“He has spoken about how much he enjoys being a grandparent.”

Prince Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals and moved to US with their son Archie. They welcomed their second child—Princess Lilibet in US.

The monarch last saw Archie and Lilibet during the late Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

Royal expert Richard Palmer recently told the Mirror, “When the Sussexes came over for the queen’s jubilee and attended Trooping the Color, a senior royal figure made it very plain that the king was thrilled to spend time with his grandchildren.”
