Kate Middleton thumbs draw unwanted attention after latest outing
Kate Middleton on Wednesday visited the University of East London
Kate Middleton’s thumbs have drawn unwanted attention from some observers online after the Princess of Wales visited the University of East London on Wednesday as part of her royal duties.
The aim of Kate’s visit was to highlight the latest stage of her mission to support the youngest members of society.
Kate spent time meeting families and students pursuing careers in the field as she launched a new resource for those working with babies, young children and their families: Foundations for Life: A Guide to Social and Emotional Development.
Some eagle-eyed fans shared screengrabs of the future queen’s arrival, noticing something unusual about her thumbs. Some attributed her “condition” to dermatillomania and dermatophagia , skin-picking and skin-biting disorders.
However, Kate has rarely been seen picking or biting her skin in public.
