King Charles' major decision leaves Prince William in tears
Prince William reportedly doesn't like the way his father handles things
King Charles III, who waited years to inherit the throne from his late mother Queen Elizabeth II, reportedly is not eager to hand over the crown to his son, Prince William.
“Charles has made it clear he’s still very much the top dog and that William needs to know his place,” an insider spilled to In Touch Weekly.
“His message for William is that he needs to bide his time and show patience and respect instead of chomping at the bit to unseat him," added a tipster.
On the other hand, the monarch's message “is not going over well with William. As per the source, the Prince of Wales is “stomping his feet over what he sees as a bait-and-switch” situation.
Previously, the publication reported that Prince William's time to rule could come sooner than expected as King Charles was planning to hand over more responsibilities to his eldest son.
“[William] was promised that some power would be ceded to him,” noted the insider. "And instead, his father is clearly on this mission to stamp his authority on the monarchy, not just globally but domestically as well."
“It really hits a nerve because he doesn’t approve of the way his father is handling things,” explained the confidant. “That’s ultimately at the core of William’s anger.”
